Carrot Weather’s cult- like following likely know that the titular weather app has received a major 5.0 upgrade that is certainly worth a revisit. As you’ll see, there is a reason why this app is insanely popular. Unfortunately, my weather data provider charges a small amount for each weather data request - and this quickly adds up when the Apple Watch complication is requesting 48 updates per day. (For comparison’s sake, a user who doesn’t have a complication installed typically uses only 1 or 2 update requests per day.). Carrots should be about as wide as your thumb or at least ½ of an inch in diameter. If you’re growing carrots in the spring and early summer, harvest before daily temperatures get too hot, as the heat can cause carrot roots to grow fibrous. Carrots taste much better after one or more frosts.
